Since 2009 Aaron Kustermann served as the Chief Intelligence Officer to the Illinois State Police (ISP). In this capacity, his operational responsibilities including leadership of the state’s 24x7 intelligence fusion center, the ISP’s field intelligence personnel and officers assigned to FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, the ISP’s digital crimes unit and several other work units. In addition to the operational responsibilities he functions as an Illinois and national information sharing evangelist and has developed numerous national information sharing programs. Aaron serves on a number of formal national executive and advisory boards on matters of intelligence, information sharing and technology. Aaron holds a Master’s Degree from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA and currently teaches graduate school at Saint Louis University.
