LEIU Continues Mission to “Provide Leadership and Promote Professionalism”

At the beginning of 2009, LEIU Executive Board Members continued to serve on many noteworthy councils, boards, committees, and working groups which are shaping the future of criminal intelligence sharing in the United States. These groups include:
- Criminal Intelligence Coordinating Council (CICC)
- Global Intelligence Working Group
- National Fusion Center Coordination Group (NFCCG)
- Interagency Threat Assessment and Coordination Group (ITACG) Advisory Council
- Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN) Advisory Council
- Homeland Security State and Local Community of Interest (HS-SLIC) Advisory Board
- Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Council
LEIU continues to play a prominent and influential leadership role in the national criminal intelligence landscape. Agencies that join LEIU have the opportunity to provide direct input to these national initiatives through their elected LEIU Board members.
