National Gambling Intelligence Sharing Group
The National Gambling Intelligence Sharing Group (NGISG) was established in 2004 as a national enforcement group whose primary objective is the coordination of gambling related intelligence. NGISG members are comprised of vetted Law Enforcement Intelligence Units (LEIU) members and invited guests spanning the United States and Canada responsible for intelligence functions related to gambling enforcement within their jurisdictions. Criminal operations targeting the gambling industry routinely cross jurisdictional lines when conducting criminal activity. The NGISG works toward a common goal of gathering information and producing timely intelligence that is shared within the working group. NGISG members' extensive knowledge in all areas of the gambling industry has evolved this working group into an essential component that consistently prevents and mitigates criminal activity targeting the gambling industry.
